EQUI 2000 ELECTROLYTE

During intense work or high temperatures, fast and efficient replacement is essential. A horse can lose between 15–20 liters of sweat in just a few hours—not just water, but significant amounts of electrolytes (up to 50g sodium, 75g chloride, and 25g potassium), along with macroelements such as calcium and magnesium, and trace elements and vitamins.

ELECTROLYTE helps rebalance these losses in the short term to prevent early fatigue, reduced performance, and increased risk of muscle stiffness, cramping, paralysis, or tying-up. It supports sustained activity and endurance. A horse’s performance and stamina are closely tied to maintaining electrolyte and fluid balance.

How do these ingredients work?

Sodium and Chloride: Regulate the body's water and electrolyte reserves and maintain tissue tension outside the cells.

Potassium: Essential for sustained performance. A deficiency can impair the function of both cardiac and skeletal muscles.

Calcium and Magnesium: Support effective, coordinated muscle movement and are essential for metabolism and nerve signal transmission to muscle cells. Deficiency symptoms include nervousness, muscle tremors, and cramping.

Dosage / Administration

Horses: 40g – 2 scoops

Ponies and Foals: 20g – 1 scoop

Depending on the level of sweat loss, the dose may be given up to 5 times per day if needed.
