Hay Pillow Slow Feeder Square

Hay Pillow Slow Feeder

The Hay Pillow Slow Feeder is a hay bag designed to ensure hay is consumed slowly. Made from polyester, PVC, and nylon, the bag is sturdy and durable. The 5–6 cm openings slow down hay intake, helping to prevent boredom.

Where is the Hay Pillow Slow Feeder best used?

This hay bag is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be placed in the stable, paddock, or pasture.

Why use a Hay Pillow Slow Feeder?

In the wild, horses spend about twice as much time foraging compared to when they are kept in a stable or paddock. Their digestive system is adapted to the constant intake of small amounts of roughage like grass or hay. The Hay Pillow Slow Feeder slows down eating, which supports healthy digestion. In addition, it helps the horse stay calm while eating and encourages natural foraging behavior.
