Derma Gel® is a topical gel that is applied directly to the skin by providing a wet atmosphere that keeps the epithelial cells viable at 97%, allowing healing through cell regeneration and favoring repeating.
Topical isotonic hydrogel for the skin. Hydrates and protects against external pollutants by favoring re-epitulation
The humid environment provided by Derma Gel® prevents crust formation. This property promotes healing both from the edges of the wound and from the base of the wound.
Promotes hair growth of the original color. It is not necessary to bandage the area for the protective film effect it creates.
For epithelial regeneration a certain degree of humidity is indispensable, so if a crust has been formed, you are epithelial cells must necessarily reach the central area of the same where the degree of humidity is adequate. The need for this cellular displacement causes a delay in the healing of the injury.
Infection rate
All wounds are contaminated with microorganisms. The difference between a contaminated wound and an infected wound is the concentration of microorganisms present in it. A proper pattern of care and cleansing of the wound will prevent the microbial population from proliferating to a level of infection. It is advisable to wash the wound with abundant saline serum or with hot water (It is not recommended to apply topical antibiotics along with Derma Gel ®). The protective layer provided by Derma Gel ® allows, while the concentration of microorganisms is controlled, the wound scars without a protective bandage.
The bandages are not necessary
The conventional method of wound treatment consisted of the application of a gauze along with a bandage, as it was considered necessary to protect the wound and accelerate its healing. The wounds covered with a hydrogel tank remain wet without the need for a bandage. Therefore, the skin heals faster without suffering the trauma of the removal of the bandage and its replacement.
Derma Gel® provides an external layer in the form of protective film. This outer layer is semi-oclusive and allows the inner layer to maintain an appropriate degree of humidity.
The humid environment consists of hydrophilic particles and several active molecules, responsible for absorbing the exudados of the wound. The combination of the protective film and the absorption capacity of the exudate creates an optimal degree of humidity for rapid healing.
Not excessive formation of pelaging tissue or discoloration
The use of Derma Gel®, along with the proper cleaning of the wound, minimizes the complication that exudates are absorbed by the wound and that the microbacterial population proliferates to levels of infection, providing a degree of moisture in which epithelial cells can regenerate for the correct healing of the wound. It keeps the wound clean and wet, allowing regenerated epithelial cells to be identical to those prior to the formation of the lesion. Derma Gel® does not contain mutagenic agents, which promote excessive formation of granulation tissue or hair discoloration.
